Hello and Thank You for your interest in our program. The concert bands have been set up to allow every musician at every level an opportunity to play and perform music that is appropriate for their growth and measured development, the goal being to prepare all LRHS music students for a successful college and perhaps professional career.

Symphonic Band: The Lakewood Ranch Symphonic Band is a group of undetermined number comprised of students from period 4, some of which will perform on their secondary instrument. There may be extra-curricular rehearsals called in preparation for District and State Assessments. The festival program will be performed in concert as the those assessments approach. This group will play music that fulfills our requirement for ensemble II as a Class BB school for the Florida Bandmaster's Association. Auditions, Stage performance and Sight -Reading are required.
